IYKYK Sativa Sippers aren’t your average THC drink! We intentionally pair THC with CBC from Cannabis Sativa plants. IYKYK Sativa Sippers have a quick onset of effects. That means the THC and CBC in our bevvies are emulsified in smaller droplets, so they are more easily absorbed in the stomach. Easier to absorb = enter your bloodstream faster. For many people, the onset time is reduced to as little as 10-15 minutes. Compare it to how drinks with slower onset can surprise you – if you’ve consumed too much without realizing how overwhelming the effects are, you can’t put that genie back in the bottle.

THC in our beverages is typically absorbed through your digestive system, processed by the liver, and then enters your bloodstream. The key: Go low and slow. If you’re new to THC drinks, start with a low dose. Sip about half the can slowly and wait at least 10 - 30 minutes or so to gauge the effects before consuming more. Low and slow allows you to ease into the experience and helps prevent any overwhelming effects.

The effects of a THC drink typically last 2 to 4 hours, depending on your tolerance and how much you’ve consumed. You might feel relaxed, happy, or experience heightened senses. Some people also get an increased appetite (“the munchies”). As the effects wear off, you’ll gradually return to your normal state.
